Presenting rarely to the market, especially in this impressive size, this large and heavy Art Deco era Mummy or Sarcophagus pendant is the Egyptian Revival collector dream piece.

Crafted from 800 silver typical in these pieces, and inlaid extensively with blue, green, yellow and enamel work to the front and verso hieroglyphs and to his exotic ‘Usekh’ or ‘Wesekh’ collar.

Measuring a wonderfully large 6.5cm and weighing an equally impressive 17.9 grams, and opening easily to reveal a 4.5cm blade made from steel.

To the top is a silver split ring which may or may not be original but is fully functional and befitting the piece.

Exotic and certainly the conversation starter, this fabulous Art Deco rarity looks spectacular worn as a pendant.
