Antique Art Deco Egyptian Revival Sarcophagus And Mummy Pendant Circa 1920-30’s
Quite the rare and collectible little Art Deco Egyptian Revival pendant dating to the 1920-30’s.
Featuring an opening sarcophagus which is crafted in 800 silver and detailed with royal blue and pale blue enamels with ancient Egyptian Iconography to both front and back.
Inside we find the original removable ‘Mummy’, gold gilt over silver, detailed with green enamel, and his arms crossed over his chest and fine details to his face.
A nice petite size, this cool and hard to find pendant measures 2.5cm with the top bale and 6.0mm at the widest point.
These Egyptian Revival pendants are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially with their Mummy inside, and they certainly make a conversation starter when worn on your favourite chain or charm bracelet.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. Tiny losses to enamel, very hard to see without loupe magnification. Opens and closes very securely. Inside Mummy gilt washed and all enamel present. Minor marks to silver, insignificant.
