Antique Art Deco Egyptian Revival Sarcophagus And Mummy Pendant Circa 1920-30’s
Quite the rare and charming collectible little Art Deco Egyptian Revival pendant dating to the 1920-30’s!
Featuring an opening sarcophagus which is crafted in 800 silver and detailed with pale and dark blue enamels, hints of green and red also, with ancient Egyptian Iconography to both front and back.
Inside we find the original removable ‘Mummy’, gold gilt over silver, detailed also with blue and red enamels, and his arms crossed over his chest and charming details to his his body both front and back.
A nice size, this cool and hard to find pendant measures 3.6cm with the top bale and 1.1cm at the widest point.
These Egyptian Revival pendants are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially with their Mummy inside, and they certainly make a conversation starter when worn on your favourite chain.

Very very good antique/vintage condition. No losses to enamel. Inside mummy is gold gilt, no losses to enamel, some patina, insignificant. Opens and closes with a nice click and stays shut. Quirky and collectible piece of Deco jewellery.
