One of the most exquisite long/guard chains we’ve had the pleasure of offering for sale.

Crafted from 9ct rose gold this 148cm long chain features small ‘paper clip’ style links alternating with round links in between.

Every 11cm for the entire length of the chain there is a round natural crystal Opal which are vibrant and luminous with swirling swatches of greens and blues and almost seem to glow!

Dating to around the Edwardian era this versatile chain can be worn long, doubled or even tripled for a three strand effect which sits well below the collar bones.

With a 9ct rose gold lobster clasp which is large and strong enough to add your favourite pendant or locket this dream of a guard chain is an asset to any jewellery lovers collection.

Very very good antique condition. No thinning between links, all have been examined under x20 loupe for integrity and are perfect. Lobster clasp functions perfectly and is strong and thick. One Opal has a natural cleavage, noting for accuracy only. Gorgeous antique chain.
