Many collectors and enthusiasts use them for business cards, as a unique wallet alternative, for storing small keepsakes, or simply as a beautiful display piece. It's a conversation starter that feels both elegant and lucky!

A genuine piece of history with lovely detailing, authentic Irish stone, and that unmistakable early 1900s craftsmanship. If you love antique silver with meaning and character, this one is hard to beat!

A truly charming piece of Edwardian silver: a beautifully crafted Sterling silver card case hallmarked for Joseph Cook & Son of Livery Street, Birmingham. It carries clear Birmingham hallmarks including the lion passant, the anchor town mark, and the date letter “I” for 1908 - a lovely, well-documented piece from the early 20th century, now 118 years old! The leaf clover is carved from Connemara marble.

The front panel is absolutely covered in exquisite foliate engraving, delicate stems, leaves, and clusters of shamrocks create a lush, almost lace-like background that frames a striking real four-This rare Irish green marble, with its soft, swirling shades of emerald and sage, is instantly recognisable and highly prized. The contrast between the cool, polished silver and the warm, naturall stone is just gorgeous!

Four-leaf clovers have long been symbols of good fortune, faith, hope, love, and luck - a perfect motif for a personal accessory like this. Carrying one with you every day was considered a wonderful way to invite positivity and protection.

Measuring 7.8 cm by 4.1 cm, and the card opening is approximately 4cm wide by 3 mm, ideal for holding a small stack of calling cards, business cards, credit cards, or even a few treasured notes or photos. It feels solid and well-made, exactly what you'd expect from a respected Birmingham maker of the period.

While card cases are less common today than they once were, this one has so much versatility and charm.
