Delicate, beautifully proportioned and full of period charm, this antique 18ct yellow gold diamond trilogy ring is one of those wonderfully wearable pieces that slips effortlessly into an existing ring collection.
Three round-brilliant cut diamonds are arranged in a classic graduated trilogy, each neatly framed within its individual setting to create a lovely defined outline across the finger. The centre diamond measures approximately 2.41mm, estimated at 0.055ct, while the two outer diamonds each measure approximately 2.24mm, bringing the total estimated diamond weight to approximately 0.15ct. The diamonds are assessed as approximately J–K colour and SI2 clarity, displaying a gentle antique warmth while remaining bright and lively as the ring moves through the light.
The setting itself has some particularly lovely period detailing. Viewed from the side, the open under-gallery is finished with a series of neat rectangular cut-outs, allowing light beneath the diamonds while giving the ring a beautifully architectural quality. It is a subtle detail, but one that really adds to the craftsmanship and character of the piece.
From the trilogy setting extends a wonderfully fine knife-edge shank, slim by design and beautifully comfortable on the finger. Its delicate proportions give the diamonds centre stage while also making this such an easy ring to wear alongside other pieces. It stacks beautifully with all your favourite bands and rings, whether paired with another antique piece, a simple gold band or something a little more contemporary.
Petite without disappearing on the hand, this is a gorgeous antique trilogy with just the right amount of sparkle and a particularly lovely, refined presence on the finger.

Condition
This ring presents in very good antique condition. The diamonds are well set and secure within their claw settings, while the beautifully detailed under-gallery remains strong, with no visible repairs noted.The diamonds are free from chips and abrasions; however, one diamond has a minute surface-reaching feather, a more appropriate gemmological term for a small natural fracture reaching the surface. It does not appear to compromise the structural integrity of the diamond and blends exceptionally well amongst the facet pattern, being visible only upon very close scrutiny and under 10× loupe magnification.
The shank is slim by design and beautifully comfortable on the finger, making this a particularly lovely piece to wear alone or nestled amongst your favourite ring stack.
