Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold ‘Day And Night’ Padlock Bracelet Circa 1910
Manufactured in the Edwardian era this 20.3 gram hollow curb-link beauty features large links measuring 1.4cm x 1.2cm each and an equally impressive large 9ct rose gold padlock clasp measuring 2.6cm x 1.6cm ( including padlock arm).
Hallmarked to the rear of the padlock with ‘E.P’ for we believe Edwin Page - Hylton Street Birmingham.
Called a ‘Day Night’ bracelet as one side features beautifully engraved alternating links to one side to wear out of a night, and the verso has plain highly polished links for day wear.
Dating from the early 1900’s, this Edwardian era bracelet is still in lovely condition even well after 100 years has passed. With the lovely engraving, there is little doubt that the engraved side will be worn and shown off regardless of the time, day or night.
The rose gold has such a wonderful warm colour to it that looks so elegant against the skin. Antique rose gold has that beautiful tone and patina without being too pink or coppery in colour often seen with modern rose gold.
