Antique Art Deco 18ct Yellow And White Gold Sapphire And Diamond Pendant Circa 1930
Modelled in a kite shaped open work style and set to the centre with what we believe is a created blue Sapphire (we have not had this one tested via our gemologist), cut unusually as a flat en-cabochon to the front and beautifully faceted to the back.
Surrounding the Sapphire are a total of twenty four tiny rose cut diamonds, all set in 18ct white gold, and a further two tiny rose cuts set to the articulated bale suspending the pendant.
Micro-millgrain edging throughout the face of the pendant typical of the era which further enhances the sparkle of the diamonds and the rear of the pendant is in lush and bright 18ct yellow gold.
The bale is quite wide for a small pendant and can accommodate many fine chains.
