Antique Australian 18ct Yellow Gold Natural Ruby Ring Circa 1900-1910
Crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a single, and stunning, faceted pinky/red Ruby weighing approximately 0.40ct, flush mounted, bead claw set in strikingly pretty eight rayed gypsy star setting.
Elegant and simple in design, allowing the Ruby to take centre stage, this solid and substantial ring is typical of the style popularised during the late Victorian to Edwardian era. Streamlined and silky smooth the gemstones were mounted to sit level with the band there-by minimising the potential of bumping the gem or snagging raised claws when being worn.
Whether worn as a statement piece or a cherished heirloom, this ring is sure to become a treasured possession, admired for generations to come.
**A very old valuation dating to 1996 is viewable upon request, due to age this one will not be included in purchase**
