Please note, boxes and chains are for display only unless otherwise stated.
This Antique Victorian to Early Edwardian Bohemian Garnet Pendant is a breathtaking piece that captures the opulence and romance of an era gone-by. Dating from circa 1890 to 1910, it showcases the unmistakable craftsmanship and bold design that made Bohemian garnet jewellery so beloved during the late 19th-early 20th centuries.
The pendant is designed in a large, three-dimensional ‘Rosette’ form, bursting with sparkle and depth. Each Rosette tier is set with rose-cut Bohemian pyrope garnets, their deep wine-red hues glowing like embers in candlelight.
The Garnets vary in size, creating a mesmerising play of light and texture that gives the piece its rich, layered brilliance.
Cafted from traditional Tombac, this pendant exudes authenticity and antique charm. Measuring an impressive 3.2 cm across and 4.2 cm in total drop (including its hinged bale), it makes a striking statement when worn — bold enough to turn heads!
Every Garnet in this piece is original and in excellent condition, a rare find for jewelelry of this age.
The pendant’s superb preservation and exquisite detail make it a true collector’s treasure — a piece that doesn’t just adorn, but tells a story of Victorian luxury and Edwardian grace.
Whether worn on a gold chain for evening glamour or displayed as part of a curated antique collection, this pendant is guaranteed to capture attention and admiration. It’s not just jewellery — it’s a piece of history that glows with fiery passion, craftsmanship, and enduring beauty.
