Please note, boxes are for display only unless otherwise stated.
A true little survivor from a by gone era, this charming, and still today, very wearable spinning fob pendant makes a lovely and inexpensive addition to any jewellery collection.
Dating to the late Georgian to early Victorian era and crafted from gold cased or gilt over (we believe silver underneath) and designed as an even popular ‘spinner’ fob pendant.
An ornate scrolled arched frame holds the Amethyst glass spinner to an aloe engraved surmount, and, a large engraved top ring.
A sizeable piece at 4.2cm x 2.3cm with its wide top ring which will accommodate a dog-clip or two, a bolt ring, or perhaps a lovely piece of velvet ribbon, an looks simply stunning around the neck.
A great alternative in today climate when solid gold is over $5,000 an ounce.. this piece achieves a timeless look with out the huge price tag.

CONDITION
Fair to good antique condition. Amethyst glass ‘spinner’ does show minor scratches, tiny tiny chips and some facet wear on close inspection, but around the neck this is very hard to see. Spins in its cradle very well though! Gold/gilt material shows patina but no major losses. No dents. No repairs. A nice piece when one doesn’t want to wear their solid gold jewellery!
