Antique 9ct Rose Gold Garnet Demi-Parure Fringe Necklace And Earrings Circa 1900-1910

A superb demi-parure dating to around the turn of the century in the ever popular ‘fringe’ design which flatters the decollete and draws the eye like no other.
Can we confirm this would be a ‘one off’ custom piece.. no.. however we have not seen, and highly doubt, another could be found due to the hand carving of the unusual carved Garnets which abound to the articulated fringes of this exquisite suite.
Crafted from 9ct rose gold throughout and featuring thirteen (13) stunning oval cabochon Garnet’s measuring 10mm x 7.8mm, each set to oval cut down settings, open backed to allow the light to further accentuate their superb pinky/red and lush hue, with each oval Garnet interspersed with thirteen (13) articulated gold capped carved Garnets (total includes necklace and earrings).
A round belcher link chain lays gracefully around the neck and the push in box clasp is as equally stunning consisting of a further oval Garnet cabochon set in a cut down setting.
The earrings are naturally a perfect match, articulated and measure a stunning drop of 3.6cm.
A substantial demi-parure, this is not a light weight jewellery suite, the necklace weights a lovely 20 grams, measures a surprising 43cm, and the earrings a comfortable 3 grams.
Exquisite in manufacture and designed to lay ‘flat’ when worn this unique suite is the rare jewellery collectors dream.

CONDITION
Very good to excellent antique condition. No chips or abrasions to any Garnets, all well set and secure. Chain is lovely, non thinning between links. Clasp is stunning, works perfectly and very secure. Shepherd hook to earrings are solid and strong. Minor marks to gold, insignificant. A stunning suite of jewellery with no issues to note.
