Dating to the late 1700’s to early 1800’s circa 1800 this charming Georgian pinchbeck bracelet more than likely started its life as a much longer necklace chain and has been cut down to be worn as a bracelet but retains its amazing original barrel clasp.

Each round belcher link has raised texturing in the form of tiny ‘dots’ typical of the era, securing with its original push-in textured barrel clasp, and also featuring an open worked round fob charm with a foil backed old cut green paste (glass) stone.

Crafted from Pinchbeck, a popular material during the Georgian era, this bracelet possesses a warm and golden hue that resembles gold. Pinchbeck was renowned for its durability and affordability, making it a favoured choice for jewellery during this period.

Measuring a very wearable 18.5cm this this charming 200 year plus bracelet is a testament to the timeless beauty and craftsmanship of the Georgian era, making it a cherished piece for any serious collector.
