“The term ‘Mizpah’ is a Hebrew word found in the book of Genesis 31:49 which means ‘Watchtower’ and it interpreted as ‘May God watch over you”.
Popular during the Victorian era and given and worn as a token of love or friendship.

This finely made, and wide (6.5mm) example is crafted from 9ct rose gold with raised ‘Mizpah’ to a textured back ground and hallmarked with full UK hallmarks for manufacture and assay in Birmingham in 1907, and makers mark ‘WM’ we believe for well known William Manton of Carolina Street Birmingham.

A charming ring which veritably melts on the the finger, a rich and warm antique rosy hue we all adore, this quite solid and heavy example is an asset to any jewellery collection.
