Utterly charming and quite a rare little Victorian ornate watch winder designed in the form of a Cornucopia or ‘Horn of plenty’ which would have been worn on a lady’s chatelaine to wind her pocket watch.

Crafted from 9ct yellow gold and beautifully chased with a floral design against a textured background throughout.

Set with a foiled backed small Citrine to one end and to the other the winding shaft.

A small 9ct gold bolt clasp has been attached sometime in the past which now conveniently allows this unusual antique piece to be worn as a pendant threaded on to a fine chain, or clip it to a jump ring on an existing pendant for a unique #neckmess styling!

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. Winder appears functional. No dents or repairs to body of cornucopia. Citrine under x 10 loupe magnification has an internal flaw or chip, this does not extend to the surface of the gem! and can only be seen under scrutiny. Bolt clasp is a later addition and works perfectly, a convenient addition.
