Vintage Retro Style 9ct Yellow Gold Blue Spinel Ring - Glows Under UV Light
Sometimes confused with the popular ‘Uranium’ glass given the intense glowing green both exhibit under UV light, this gorgeous ring is actually a man made (Lab) Spinel and glows this intense neon green due to the presence of the trace mineral Manganese.
Dating to around the 1960’s, Retro in style, and crafted from 9ct yellow gold and tension set with an emerald-cut beautiful coloured Lab Spinel which under natural light is an intense and vibrant blue/green not dissimilar to a fine Aquamarine.
Under UV light she glows neon bright intense green that is nothing short of spectacular!
Ultra stylish and modern on the finger, she sits well with a flat or domes wedding band or two, but is quite impressive enough to be worn alone!

Very very good vintage condition. Good quality ring with no thinning to shank, solidly made throughout. One tiny tiny flea bite to Spinel not seen with the naked eye. No other issues to note. Such a pretty ring!
