Vintage Estate 18ct White Gold And Diamond Brooch - Circa 1940-50’s
Please note, boxes are for display only unless otherwise stated.
This particularly elegant 1940-50’s diamond bar brooch is a stunning testament to the exquisite craftsmanship of the era.
Crafted from 18ct white gold the central feature of this brooch is an early brilliant-cut diamond, six claw set, weighing approximately 0.38 carats.
Flanking the central diamond are four smaller early round brilliant-cut diamonds with a combined weight of approximately 0.06 carats. These additional diamonds add to the overall glitter and elegance of the piece without overpowering the central stone.
The design is sleek and streamlined, characteristic of the Art Deco, and beyond period, with clean lines and geometric shapes. The ends of the brooch gently curl, adding a touch of delicate grace to the overall design.
For added security, the brooch features a roll-over C clasp with a safety arm, ensuring that it stays securely fastened when worn. The combination of the secure clasp and the durable materials used in its construction makes this brooch both a reliable and stylish accessory.
Overall, this brooch is a fine example of vintage jewellery, embodying the elegance and sophistication of the Art Deco to 1940s period. Its timeless design and sparkling diamonds make it a versatile piece that can add a touch of classic glamour to any outfit.
