DESCRIPTION (Please scroll to the bottom to view video)
Dating to around the late 1940’s perhaps early 1950’s these absolutely delightful diamond earrings are by well know Australian jewellery firm ‘Prouds’ and fortunately retain their original box.
(Prouds was established in 1903 and became ‘Prouds Ltd’ in 1948 and in 1951 Prouds and Edments merged) which fits nicely with the original box marked Prouds Ltd.
Crafted from 18ct white gold and each set with an approximately 0.15ct round brilliant cut diamond in six claw illusion settings.
Designed as screw backs popular in this era with ornate fluted screws, these are the prefect earrings for those of you that do not have pierced ears.
