Mesmerisingly beautiful 9ct yellow gold Australian ring dating to between the 1950-70’s.

Centred with an oval Lightning Ridge Dark Crystal Opal cabochon in a bezel setting to a slightly raised solid gallery, to wide shoulders which are deeply chased with a scrolling ornate pattern extending half way down the shank to a then plain thick half round shank.

Exhibiting a luminous combination of predominately purple/mauve and blue hues with hints of vibrant green flashes and quite thickly saturated with all these colours.

The Opal measures a substantial 15mm x 11mm.

Low profile, easy to wear this ring receives compliments when ever she is seen.
