A little late for Mothers Day but this divine vintage puffy heart by Australian firm ‘RODD - APEX’ would make the perfect present for any occasion!
This divine piece of Australiana was crafted some time between 1920 - 1948 ( we would say early 1940’s ) as George Rodd established his workshop in 1919 and used the trade mark ‘APEX’ fro 1920 to 1948.
Crafted from 9ct gold with is that in-between hue not quite yellow and not quite rose gold and designed as good sized hollow ‘puffy heart’ with a stunning collar of embossed scrolling lace work to the top, and plain and highly polish finish to the verso.
Retaining her original oval bale, which is always a nice touch.
Pop this one on you favourite chain or perhaps add her to your charm bracelet?
