Charming and very wearable wide 9ct yellow gold ring depicting St Christopher.

Measuring a healthy 9mm wide to the front and shoulders tapering to a wide and comfortable 5.50mm at the rear of the shank.

Wide as this ring is she does sit well with your other stacking bands.

Fully hallmarked with UK hallmarks for Birmingham and date letter 1968 this vintage ring is is excellent condition for its age.

Best known as the patron saint of travellers St Christopher is one of the fourteen holy helpers - saints who have been grouped by the Catholic Church as those whose intercession has been known to be particularly helpful.

Depicted as a tall man with a long beard carrying a child on his shoulders across a river, the child turned out to be Christ with the weight of the world upon his shoulders.
