An interesting vintage ring designed as a swivel or ‘flip’ ring displaying the Order of the Eastern Star to the front and to the ‘flip’ side (in rose gold), the original owners initials - ‘FEJ’.

‘The Order of the Eastern Star is a Masonic appendant body open to both men and women. It was established in 1850 (174 years ago) by lawyer and educator Rob Morris, a noted Freemason, and adopted and approved as an appendant body of the Masonic Fraternity in 1873’.

Crafted from 9ct yellow gold and fully hallmarked for manufacture by J H Wynn Ltd (from 1938) - Hylton Street, Birmingham, assay in Birmingham and date stamped clearly for 1964.

Low rise on the finger this ring is not only attractive and interesting, but a true conversation starter!

CONDITION
Very very good vintage condition. Enamel is very good, one tiny fleabite to blue star ray. Hallmarks very crisp and clear. No thinning to shank. Swivel works perfectly.
