Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold ‘Antique Style’ Citrine And Diamond Trilogy Ring- Birmingham 1991

Taking centre stage is a beautifully bright oval-cut Citrine measuring approximately 6.80mm x 4.90mm or 0.64ct approx, displaying a rich golden to honey-yellow colour with lovely flashes of warm amber as it catches the light. The central Citrine is flanked by two complementary oval-cut Citrines, each measuring approximately 5.90mm x 3.10mm or 0.31ct each approx, creating a beautifully balanced graduated three-stone arrangement.
What really sets this ring apart is its fabulous setting. The Citrines are nestled within a wonderfully sculptural yellow gold mount, interspersed with sparkling Diamond accents measuring TDW 0.10ct. The sweeping, almost ribbon-like goldwork curves around each gemstone, giving the ring a lovely sense of movement and dimension while allowing the warm golden colour of the Citrines to really shine.
Measuring approximately 1.62cm across the setting, the ring has fantastic finger spread and a surprisingly substantial presence when worn. The shoulders flow beautifully into the band, creating a design that feels both bold and feminine without being overly heavy.
A wonderfully characterful ring with the hallmarks of an early-1990s design, combining glowing golden Citrines, sparkling Diamond accents and beautifully considered goldwork — a fabulous statement piece with plenty of warmth and vintage charm.

Very very good to excellent vintage condition. The citrines are absolutely gorgeous, free from chips or abrasions; all claws are present and strong, the diamonds are very bright and white, free from chips or abrasions. A wonderful finger spread, the shank gently tapers to verso, giving the ring a comfortable and smooth feeling on the finger. A very pretty ring!
