Our gorgeous vintage Almandine garnet ring is styled in the popular Belcher or Tulip set (as often referred) design, crafted in 9ct yellow gold, and is low rise for ease of wear with a lovely solid, thick and oh so comfortable shank, making this ring a great every day piece.

Please note, boxes are for display only unless otherwise stated.

Taking centre stage is a beautifully proportioned oval-cut natural Almandine garnet, measuring approximately 9.16mm x 7.00mm and estimated at approximately 2.00 carats. The garnet displays those gorgeous rich tones so characteristic of Almandine, with a deep wine-red to burgundy body colour that comes alive with flashes of vivid crimson and cherry red as the light moves across the stone.

The Garnet is securely held in a tulip belcher-style setting, featuring twelve strong claws, a graceful scalloped gallery that frames the stone perfectly. The substantial gold shank is both wide and smooth, ensuring a comfortable fit while adding a sense of strength and presence to the design. Despite its bold look, the ring sits low to the finger, making it easy and practical to wear every day.

The warm 9ct yellow gold complements the saturated red of the garnet beautifully, creating a rich and classic combination that feels unmistakably vintage.

A striking late-1950s ring with wonderful colour, character and finger presence, and a particularly lovely example of vintage British garnet jewellery.
