Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Almandine Garnet Trilogy Ring - Birmingham 1972
Please note, boxes are for display only unless otherwise stated.
This exquisite vintage trilogy ring is a beautiful celebration of classic design, rich colour, and enduring craftsmanship. Elegant yet full of warmth, it’s a piece that instantly captures the heart and feels wonderfully special on the hand.
Crafted in 9 carat yellow gold and fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1972, the ring also carries the maker’s mark S & Co, possibly Sydney & Co.
The timeless trilogy design symbolises past, present, and future, making it a meaningful choice whether worn as a personal treasure or given as a heartfelt gift.
Set with three superb Almandine garnets, the ring has a total estimated carat weight of approximately 4.4 carats. The striking centre stone weighs around 2.0 carats, flanked by two beautifully matched garnets of approximately 1.2 carats each.
Their deep, glowing red tones are wonderfully vibrant, and the stones are in pristine condition with no visible face wear, suggesting the ring has seen very little time, if any, on the finger.
Each garnet is securely claw-set within a basket-style gallery that enhances their natural brilliance, while the gently swept shoulders flow into a comfortable half-round shank. With an impressive spread of approximately 1.9 cm across the finger and a width of around 9.8 mm, the ring has a confident presence without sacrificing elegance.
Garnet is the January birthstone, long associated with love, strength, and devotion, adding another layer of meaning to this already special piece. Beautifully preserved and full of vintage charm, this garnet trilogy ring is a timeless treasure to love and wear for years to come.
