Vintage 9ct Rose Gold Two Row Keeper’ Ring

Collections: Sold Archive

Appearing very much like an antique ring in every way however this one is clearly marked for manufacture in London with date letter attributing it to 1965.

Beautifully crafted, substantial and heavy at 8.7 grams and manufactured from everyone's favourite soft and rosy hued 9ct rose gold.

Almost 1cm wide and almost 2cm across giving a lovely finger coverage.
Modelled as a ‘Keeper’ ring which has been a style dating back to as early was the 1700’s.  Gaining popularity in the Victorian era these rings were given as a pre-betrothal ring with the sweet sentiment of ‘You’re a Keeper!’.   Usually given one year before the official engagement date.

As popular today as they were over 100 years ago this one has the advantage perhaps of being old but ‘not too old’ and therefore in excellent and substantial condition.
