Vintage 9ct Rose Gold Green Quartz Ring

Early ring dating we believe to around the 1930-40’s crafted from 9ct rose gold and set with a green high domed cabochon which looks very much like Chrysoprase (however we and our gemologist don’t believe it is), it does seem to test as Quartz on a Presidium gem tester II. Such a mystery however what we do know is she is beautifully crafted and quite stunning on the finger.
The green cabochon is held in a raised ornate crown multi-claw setting with tapered upswept shoulders to a half red solid shank.
Such a pop of warm colours the green and the antique rosy hue of the gold work lovely together.
