Superb 18ct Yellow gold ring dating we believe around the 1940’s and Australian made with an old style 18ct stamp.
Centred with an oval Lightning Ridge Black Crystal Opal cabochon in a bezel setting to a raised solid gallery.
Exhibiting a luminous combination of purple and blue hues and quite thickly saturated with these colours.
The Opal measures 10.5mm x 7.7mm or approximately 2.0cts in weight.
Inverted tapered raised shoulders flow seamlessly to a solid half round shank.
Low profile, easy to wear, this ring receives compliments whenever she is seen.
