Vintage 18ct Yellow Gold And Palladium Diamond Trilogy Ring Circa 1940’s

Dating to around the 1940’s and crafted from 18ct yellow gold and Palladium this bright and beautiful diamond trilogy ring is one of our favourites this week!

Substantial crafted, beautifully made this symbolic ‘Trilogy’ ring represents ‘Past, Present and Future’ and probably would have been originally purchased as an engagement or eternity ring.

One of the things we love about this era of ring is their use of illusion settings.  Each diamond is bead claw set (in Palladium) to a beautifully worked faceted illusion setting which kicks out the light and sparkles along with the already bright and white diamonds making them appear larger than they already are - ingenious!

Each diamond is individually set in an open work V shaped coronet setting to tapered shoulders and a thick flat and substantial shank.

Diamonds measure approximately 0.10ct and 0.05ct so around 0.20ct total.

Get the look of larger diamonds with out the ridiculous price tag and score yourself an original 1940s ring to boot!
