Vintage 18ct Yellow Gold Amethyst Rose Cut Diamond Halo Ring circa 1940 Independent Valuation Included In Purchase For $3,300 AUD
Sold Out $1,511.00
Prettier than a picture this strikingly vibrant ring is simply a pleasure to wear.
Hand made throughout from 18ct yellow gold with the diamonds set in silver as per the method commonly used in vintage and antique jewellery and bezel set to the centre with a large 14mm x 10mm faceted oval natural Amethyst.
Surrounding the deeply saturated Amethyst in halo style are 27 rose cut diamonds (and one round brilliant cut diamond) to a low rise gallery in 18ct yellow gold and to the the shoulders are another single rose cut diamond.
Dating to around the 1940’s or thereabouts given the Art Deco style, hand craftsmanship and quality.
Large and showy on the finger with a spread of 2cm x 1.7cm but so low rise and comfortable this one veritably melds on to the finger.
A slim half round shank compliments this ring perfectly.
