An incredible Pearl necklace dating we believe to around the 1950’s, perhaps a little earlier, and frankly one of the most beautiful we have had the pleasure of offering.
Designed as a triple strand featuring 210 stunning creamy white cultured Pearls measuring approximately 6.5-6.8mm each, and displaying a lovely luster with rose and gold overtones.
The clasp is impressive.. crafted from 18ct white gold, designed as a daisy cluster with a central feature Pearl and surrounded in petal form with sixteen small single cut bright white diamonds. A hidden push in box clasp with a safety lever to the verso, an ingenious safety feature seen in quality clasps (see video).
Now… this beauty can be worn as a ‘graduated’ triple strand draping against the décolletage, with the clasp central, low or high diagonal, the choice is yours. Or one can twist the Pearls to from a ‘torque’ style arrangement also (see all photos), making this a VERY versatile piece!
A family heirloom piece in the making.. wouldn’t this be a special wedding or anniversary piece for that someone special.
