With its gloriously coloured rhodolite garnet, sweeping diamond detail and beautiful platinum weight, it has a presence that feels rather special. The star of this show is an incredibly pretty natural oval rhodolite garnet, measuring approximately 10.8 × 8.9 mm and estimated at 3.73ct. Its colour is simply gorgeous: a rich, strongly purplish red with the depth of dark berries, coming alive with flashes of raspberry and vivid magenta as the light catches its facets. The generously sized oval garnet sits proudly at the centre, giving the ring its striking colour and unmistakable presence.
Surrounding the garnet, diamonds sweep in graceful curves across the platinum setting and into the shoulders. Fifty-six channel set baguette and tapered baguette diamonds give the design its beautiful sense of movement, while twenty-two round brilliant cut diamonds add a lively sparkle at either side. Against the garnet’s deep colour, the bright white diamonds look especially lovely.
The baguette and tapered baguette diamonds measure approximately 1.5 × 1.3 mm to 2 × 1.6 mm and have a combined calculated weight of 0.72ct, assessed as G colour, VS1–SI clarity. The round brilliant cut diamonds measure approximately 1.6 mm each, with a combined calculated weight of 0.33ct, assessed as G colour, SI–I1 clarity. Together, the diamonds total an estimated 1.05ct.
The shoulders are especially lovely from the side, with a subtle split that lets the diamond set sections sweep towards the garnet before tapering into the smooth platinum shank. Beneath the setting, an openwork undergallery reveals a row of neat rectangular openings — a beautiful finishing detail that gives this substantial ring a sense of lightness.
There is substance to match its beauty, too. Crafted in polished platinum with an open backed setting and a tapered, low half-round shank, the ring weighs a wonderful 12.70 grams. It feels every bit the quality piece it appears — bold enough to turn heads, yet elegant enough to be worn and loved for years to come.

Condition
This beautiful ring presents in almost new condition, and looks as though it has spent very little time on the finger. The rhodolite garnet is wonderfully clean and bright, with no visible abrasions and only the tiniest flea bite to an outer edge, noted for accuracy, otherwise eye clean. The diamonds are secure and show no chips or abrasions.
