Superb Antique Australian Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold And Amethyst Lavaliere By Aronson And Co. Circa 1910
A superb piece of Australian antique jewellery fully hallmarked for manufacture by one of our early jewellery firms Aronson and Co.
One of the finest examples we’ve had the pleasure of offering, crafted from 9ct rose gold, and designed as an elegant lavaliere set with the most stunning and large Amethysts, which are almost definitely natural and un-heated.
A fine 9ct gold trace chain suspends the three central Amethysts, all multi claw set and interspersed by charming floral seed pearl set sprigs, to the main drop measuring a lovely 5cm in length, which holds another stunning large oval Amethyst and a small round Amethyst, with an estimated total carat weight of 10.00cts of Amethyst’s.
A very pleasing 45cm in length, longer than most examples of this era, with a simple and original tubular push-in clasp, this beauty is very secure on the neck.
Timeless and elegant, a style which continues to span the eras, this superb antique Australian piece of jewellery is a true heirloom piece.

Excellent antique condition. No chips or abrasions to Amethyst, almost definitely un-heated, a superb colour, beautifully faceted. All seed Pearls are original, no re-glues. Chain is lovely, no repairs. Clasp functions perfectly. All claws original and in excellent order. A beautiful antique Australian piece of jewellery.
