Superb And Huge 20 Carat Smoky Quartz 14k Ring Circa 1950
The Smoky measures a large and impressive 2.5cm x 1.6cm and is 1cm deep, faceted perfectly and 10 claw set to a raised and ornately pierced gallery, to nice solid and solid upswept tapered shoulders to a solid D shaped comfortable band.
This Smoky quartz is the colour of very dark golden syrup and heavily saturated with colour and throws just the right amount of deep golden highlights, and is a ring that makes a statement when she enters a room!

CONDITION
Lovely vintage condition, no chips, scratches or abrasions to the smoky quartz. There is one tip of a claw missing, this has been assessed by our jeweller as inconsequential.
Quite a heavy ring at 10.30 grams, gold setting is substantial and well made.
