Who doesn’t love a gemstone with a colour change phenomenon ?

Well we can’t all afford a genuine Alexandrite or a colour change Sapphire, so this is the next best alternative!

This beauty is a synthetic or ‘man made’ colour change sapphire which exhibits a nice colour shift from blue-green to vivid amethyst purple in incandescent light.

Set in a raised eight claw scalloped setting to a wide curved and slightly tapered band, all constructed from 9ct soft hued yellow gold.

Quite striking and unusual in comparison to the overly large ‘knuckle busters’ usually seen with these colour change stones, this ring is so much more wearable and suitable for every day wear due to its low profile.

Very good to excellent condition. Stone is free from any chips or abrasions. Claws are excellent and secure. Band / shank is lovely and thick, quite a heavy little ring. Colour shift is lovely, quite mesmerising.
