Stunning Vintage 9ct Rose Gold Etched Heart Necklace And Earrings Set Circa 1940

Dating we believe to the 1940’s but perhaps earlier this utterly charming demi-parure is crafted from 9ct rose gold.

The necklace is designed as ‘collar’ style necklace and features a series of overlapping heart shaped sections with beautiful floral engraving to each heart.  Held securely at the top with flat faceted belcher style links and held securely with a 9ct gold dog clip at the rear.

Matching earrings with two over lapping hearts complete the set, designed with screw backs for non pierced ears. (The earrings could be modified by a jeweller to post and Butterfly backs if desired ).

Quite substantial the necklace weighs a lovely almost 19 grams and shimmers in the light!

CONDITION
Very very good vintage preowned condition.  No repairs. Clasp works perfectly and securely.  Earring screw backs also work perfectly.  No damage to Hearts, engraving is just lovely.  Minor marks to highly polished backs of Hearts only , insignificant.  Gorgeous set.
