Dating to the late Victorian era circa 1895 this quite exquisite and ornate 9ct yellow gold pendant features a large heart-cut natural Amethyst of approximately 10cts or 1.5 x 1.5cm x 1.0cm deep.

Set in a scrolling and ornate 9ct gold hand-crafted frame suspended beneath to an articulated drop is another natural pear-cut Amethyst.

Articulated bale to the top which is of nice proportions allowing a variety of sized chains which makes this piece very versatile.

Rare and increasing sought after Amethyst hearts of this era are a wonderful addition to any serious collectors jewellery wardrobe.
