Bold, sculptural and wonderfully luxurious, this contemporary 18ct rose gold smoky quartz ring is a true statement piece, centred by an extraordinary smoky quartz of approximately 18 carats.
Measuring an impressive 1.94cm long x 1.38cm wide, the beautifully proportioned rectangular stone has a striking step-cut appearance, with broad, crisp facets that give the quartz incredible depth and presence. Its colour is particularly captivating — a rich, deeply saturated smoky brown with subtle olive, tobacco and warm cognac undertones. In stronger light, flashes of golden amber and deep olive appear through the stone, while the edges take on an almost dark chocolate intensity. Despite the strength of its colour, the quartz retains a lovely translucency, allowing the facets to come alive as the ring moves.
The smoky quartz is held securely by substantial 18ct rose gold claws, the warmth of the gold beautifully complementing those earthy, golden-brown tones. From the side, the ring is every bit as impressive. The open, architectural under-gallery has a beautifully geometric construction, with stepped horizontal rails following the shape of the stone. Not only does this give the ring a wonderfully refined and substantial profile, it also leaves the underside of the quartz open, allowing light to enter and illuminate its colour from within.

This beautiful ring presents in gorgeous contemporary condition, with the smoky quartz remaining free from chips and abrasions. A small area of natural inclusion is visible within one corner of the stone, entirely characteristic of the gemstone and adding to its individuality.
