Stunning Antique Edwardian 18ct Yellow Gold Five Stone Half Hoop Diamond Ring Circa 1910
Please note, boxes are for display only unless otherwise stated.
This beautiful ring captures everything that makes Edwardian jewellery so endlessly desirable.
Crafted around 1910 in rich 18 carat yellow gold, it has a soft elegance and refined sparkle that modern pieces rarely manage to replicate. It feels timeless, romantic, and quietly confident—the kind of ring you fall in love with the moment you see it!
Designed in classic half‑hoop style, five old European cut diamonds stretch gracefully across the finger. Their antique faceting catching the light with depth and character.
The diamonds graduate perfectly in size, with a central stone of approximately 0.35 carats, flanked by two stones of around 0.22 carats, and finished with two outer diamonds of approximately 0.14 carats each. Together they total an impressive 1.02 carats, offering real presence while still feeling beautifully balanced and wearable.
The diamonds are a lovely G–H colour with SI to SI2 clarity, bright and lively with all the charm you’d expect from stones of this era. They sit proudly yet comfortably on the finger, giving that coveted “loaded” look without feeling heavy or bulky.
Turn the ring over and the craftsmanship truly shines. The carved, ornate under‑gallery features elegant scrollwork and delicate shoulders, a detail only found in genuinely well‑made antique rings. The shank is slim and comfortable, designed to be worn every day, and the straight under‑gallery profile means it pairs effortlessly with a wedding band or a diamond eternity ring alongside.
Remarkably, this ring is in superb condition with no issues to note. It’s a rare and beautiful survivor from the Edwardian era—romantic, refined, and endlessly wearable. Whether chosen as a wedding ring, an anniversary piece, or simply because you couldn’t leave it behind, this is the kind of ring that feels instantly special and becomes treasured for a lifetime.
