At its centre sits a striking heart-cut Sapphire, weighing approximately 0.80 carats (assessed by a gemologist as a natural).

Its deep, velvety blue tone draws the eye immediately, and surrounding the Sapphire is a delicate halo of 12 round brilliant-cut diamonds, each one bright, lively and of excellent colour and clarity which adds a vibrant sparkle that perfectly complements the centre Sapphire.
The Sapphire is set in a substantial multi-claw setting, designed to both protect and showcase its beauty. A simple basket beneath allows light to flow through the stones, enhancing their brilliance, while gently tapered, upswept shoulders lead into a smooth half-round shank for a comfortable and elegant finish.
Crafted in 18 carat yellow gold, the ring carries full UK hallmarks for London along with a date letter for 1987 and makers mark DS & Co.
