Splendid Antique Victorian 9ct And 12ct Gold Heart 1/2 Albertina Fob Chain

An outstanding Victorian ladies Albertina fob dating to the mid to late 1800’s.
Crafted from both 9ct and 12ct gold, the superb ‘padlock heart’ fob is in 12ct gold, and the triple associated chains are 9ct gold, as is the dainty central applied floral slider.
The stunning Heart shaped padlock ‘fob’ is decorated with exquisite tiny applied yellow and rose gold rosettes and an ornate border to the perimeter, a deep and solid heart with yellow gold to the front, and rose gold to the verso and padlock ‘arm’. (This padlock fob is not designed to open).
The triple chains are lovely, a central interlocking link style to the centre and the two outer chains in foxtail design.
Measuring a lovely 11cm in length this wonderful Victorian piece today can be worn as an alluring drop pendant on your favourite chain, or attached to a small bolt ring or even threaded with a fine velvet ribbon if desired.
In Victorian Albertina terms this is an exceptional piece and will be an asset to any serious collectors jewellery wardrobe.
