Modern Italian 18ct Yellow Gold Large Hoop Earrings
Fine quality 18ct yellow gold earrings crafted in Arezzo Italy, dating to around the 1980’s or thereabouts.
Crafted as large hoops measuring 4.5cm in diameter and a drop from the ear of 5cm these impressive earrings make a huge statement!
Designed as a matte / brushed finish to one half of the hoop and a highly polished ‘twist’ to the other and divided perfectly at the junction with a solid gold spiral.
Hollow in construction but a lovely weight of 5.78 grams, not too heavy but certainly noticeable and comfortable once the ear.
The twist section we assume is to face the front of the ear given the posts… but.. why couldn’t they be worn in reverse with the bushed gold section to the front!!
