According to the Gemological Institute of America “Lapis with a uniform, deep blue hue, especially with a hint of Violet, is considered top quality”.
This pair of Lapis Lazuli earrings features the most intense, vivid and strikingly rich blue hue, classed as ‘royal blue’ or ‘midnight blue’ (with a touch of violet), and sprinkles of typical Pyrite.
Each earring presents a graceful graduated drop, measuring 5cm from the ear, consisting of three polished spherical Lapis Lazuli beads, increasing in size (ranging from 5.9mm to 9.9mm) toward the base and articulated between gold connecting links.
Suspended from the classic leverback fittings are feature an elegant fluted fan-shaped detailing to the top of each earring drop.
