Modern 9ct Yellow Gold ‘Claddagh’ Ring

Collections: Sold Archive

One of the prettiest ‘Claddagh’ rings we have had the pleasure to offer! This larger than average Claddagh ring is set with three lovely bright and white diamonds; one set to centre of the heart in a gypsy star setting and two set within the crown.

Claddagh ring (Irish: fáinne Chladaigh) is a traditional Irish ring in which a heart represents love, the crown stands for loyalty, and two clasped hands symbolize friendship. The Claddagh ring can be worn in a number of different ways to denote the wearers relationship status.

The design and customs associated with it originated in Claddagh, County Galway. Its modern form was first produced in the 17th century.

A lovely sentimental gift or perhaps even as an alternative wedding band, the choice is yours!
