This strikingly pretty modern 9ct yellow gold and Amethyst ring, crafted in Birmingham in 1999 and fully hallmarked as such, is a bold yet elegant design that makes quite the statement on the hand.
Set with 16 richly hued round faceted Amethysts, the gemstones are arranged in a three-row formation, each separated by fine gold bar spacers that give the design a structured, almost architectural feel. The deep purple tones of the Amethysts shimmer beautifully under the light, creating a vivid contrast against the warmth of the yellow gold.
Measuring a generous 8.4mm wide and spreading almost 2cm across the finger, this is a substantial yet wearable piece.
