Releasing from our personal collection this wonderful ring deserves to be worn and seen!
Set with a stunning Cantera Opal which is a type of Fire Opal found in Magdalena, Queretaro and possibly other locations in Mexico.
These wonderful Opal are sometimes cut in their rhyolitic host rock, en cabochon, leaving a fire Opal in the dome.
Crafted in bright and rich 14k yellow gold, substantial in manufacture, this Opal is sagely held by too many claws to count!
Trifurcated shoulders flow to a solid and thick half round shank.
Now.. the Opal.. its simply mesmerising! The ‘host’ material is a pink/beige hue, speckled and towards the central dome of the Opal is a rich dappled brown with the floating blues, greens, yellows and a hint of mauve that swim across the surface of this gorgeous unusual Opal!
A large finger spread - 1.9cm x 1.3cm - makes this ring a veritable stand out on the finger and she receives gasps of admiration when ever she is seen!
