Superb example of early Georgian handcrafted workmanship with an oval foil-backed Citrine set in a cut down collet setting, to a finely embossed ornate border.
The bifurcated shoulders are lovely, finely engraved to a then three grooved shank, which is the original, so very typical of the period.
The pale citrine measures 9mm x 7mm and, due to the traditional foil-backing, simply glows.
In lovely condition for her 210 years with this charming ring is looking for her ever home.
