Exquisite 1890’s Bohemian Garnet Brooch/Pendant
Sold Out Free
Early and quite beautiful original Victorian era Bohemian garnet brooch studded with dark pomegranate coloured rose cut pyrope garnets.
Quite 3D in profile it consists of three stepped tiers which just add to its appeal. All garnets are original and in very good condition. This may be a brooch but.. with the simple addition of a gold chain slipped through the pin it then makes for a wonderful pendant!
Sits beautifully actually at the neck.
Backed in traditional 'Garnet gold', 'Bohemian gold' or more precisely by its true name, 'Tombac'.
