A magnificent pair of Australian made earrings by, and with original valuation by, Holloway Diamonds featuring two superb champagne Argyle type diamonds.
The diamonds weigh 0.91ct and 0.92ct respectively, with colour C6 and clarity SI1 and VSI, (excellent clarity) with a total combined weight of 1.83tct.
Superb in manufacture these are the heftiest ‘stud’ earrings we’ve had the pleasure of offering… most stud earrings weigh a gram or two.. these weigh an incredible 7.80 grams, a testament to their quality manufacture and design.
Each diamond is three claw set - solid and strong claws which hold each large diamond perfectly, and also allowing the diamond to take centre stage as they should!
Strong and solid posts are finished with the largest and strongest ‘butterfly backs’ we have seen, with dainty scalloped edges which add the the overall design aesthetic and are easy given their large size to hold and fit unlike the tiny backs seen on most earrings.
The colour of the diamonds is mesmerising… a true champagne hue which scintillates warm golden and bright radiant flashes.. - our photos do not do them justice!
