Estate 10ct Tri-Colour ‘Black Hills’ Gold Navette Ring
A wonderfully pretty ring in one of our favourite styles, the Navette, which elongates the finger and is so flattering to most hands!
Crafted from both 10ct rose and yellow gold this ‘Black Hills’ ring depicts all the necessary elements of the traditional Black Hills jewellery - the grape clusters, detailed leaves and spiraling vines, with charming grape clusters to the shoulders also!
“Black Hills gold jeweller is a type of jewellery manufactured in the Black Hills of South Dakota. First created in the 1870’s during the Black Hills gold rush by Henri LeBeau, a French goldsmith. It is said that Henri dreamed about the design after passing out from thirst and starvation. Black Hills gold jewellery depicts leaves, grape clusters and is made with alloys of gold with standard yellow gold as well as green and pink gold’.
With a flattering presence on the finger measuring 2.3cm x 1.5cm, relatively low rise at 5.7mm, this highly detailed ring is however very smooth with no sharp edges to catch on ones clothing, a testament to the fine and clever manufacture.
